OUR PROFESSIONAL STAFF
 Corinne - I have been in the hairdressing industry for over 17 years and was trained in France. I studied with Jacques Dessange, a hairdressing company famous for its quality and a reputation for top class colouring. After managing the colouring division within a new salon in France, I came to England to experience new techniques and challenges. I quickly settled in and became part of a strong creative team, entering hairdressing competitions, colouring for photo shoots and stage presentation. The team reached the finals of the prestigious Best British Hairdressing Awards.
It is such a pleasure to work at The Amber Room. It has such a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. I love my job and like to give my best to my guests to make them feel happy and confident.
I am a colouring expert, so it is very important to work with the best products. I am using Aveda products in the salon and I am thrilled with how the hair responds, with a wonderful gloss and longer lasting colour, and the condition of the hair is second to none.
 Priya - I have been working in the hair industry for 15 years. I trained and worked in South Africa. I came to work in the U.K. looking for a career challenge and to expand my knowledge and skills further. I’ve worked in London, Leatherhead and Dulwich. I’ve had varying job roles ranging from Stylist, educator to managing a salon. My expertise covers various aspects of hairdressing, from creative cutting, colouring and styling. I feel passionate about my work and I’m a perfectionist in everything I do. I pride myself in my work and personalise every service I undertake with my guests, to suit their individual needs, taking into account not only their hair but face shape, skin tone and lifestyle. I enjoy combining my inspiration and skills to create both classic and contemporary looks. Being an educator helps me stretch my creativity and think outside the box. I constantly strive to keep up with current trends and techniques and products.
 Christopher - I moved from my home City of Paris to England 3 years ago to broaden my knowledge and experiences. I worked in Paris as a Stylist for Saint Karl, Fabio Salsa and Franck Provost for several years where I managed a salon for 1 year, and then owned my own Salon for 2 years. I have also worked for Sebastian hair Product Company for 1 year where I enjoyed promoting premium products to some of the finest salons in Paris.
Since working in England at The Amber Room I love to mix my Parisian techniques and knowledge where I can express my art within a highly creative team, whilst still keeping my French personality.
 Karly - I have worked as part of The Amber Room team for 2 years. I have 9 years experience in the hairdressing industry. I have completed a variety of different technical cutting, styling and colouring courses throughout my career.
I am very passionate about my work and like to create a bespoke look for all my guests and a careful consultation looking at each individuals lifestyle and needs. Educating my guests is also important to me to help them create and maintain their style, once away from the salon.
 Hettie - I have been a qualified Stylist for 5 years and have recently joined The Amber Room salon in 2009.
I love being part of a team and being able to work in such a relaxing environment. From the moment our guests arrive, to the moment they leave, I try to make their experience with me as special and unique as possible.
I am very passionate about my work, as it is all I have ever wanted to do. I like to interact and get to know my guests needs, so I can create an individual new look for each and everyone, making sure they can maintain their look at home.
 Mandy - I come from a hairdressing and design background. My design background includes graphic design and fashion couture, where I worked in London for many years. My hairdressing background includes a hairdressing apprenticeship and running a large salon as Salon Director for 3 years.
At The Amber Room, I like to treat each and every guest as individuals. It’s extremely important to me that everyone I deal with feels special and important. I also love the continuing and forward thinking concepts and ideas we have for the future and working within a great creative team.
 Jodie - I started my apprenticeship at The Amber Room in 2008 starting at NVQ level 1. I am completing my NVQ level 2 where I train at college and at The Amber Room. Once I have passed, I will become a Junior Stylist and then proceed with my NVQ level 3, which will allow me to further my skills and knowledge in hairdressing.
I have always wanted to be a Stylist since I can remember and I plan to colour, style and cut hair. I love to meet new people and educate and discuss their needs and the desired look that they want.
One of my future goals is as well as working in an exciting salon is to work as a Stylist on Cruise Ships
 Shannel - I started working at The Amber Room in 2009. I am currently half way through studying my NVQ level 2. I go to college one day a week and work and train in the Salon for the rest of the week. I love training in both places because I can learn different techniques from different mentors. Hairdressing has always been my passion, so I have always known that will be a Stylist. I enjoy working at The Amber Room as it has such a lovely atmosphere and guests feel that too, and every day is different.
My future goal is to become a Stylist working in a lively creative and friendly salon.
